Through PHYRMA’s connection with Qawwa Coffee Exporters, founded and led by women, with a clear focus on uplifting women throughout the coffee value chain, PHYRMA is built on an established understanding of Ethiopian coffee sourcing, export, and supply.
Both companies share the same foundation, they were created by women who believe that the future of Ethiopian coffee must include the voices, leadership, and prosperity of the women who have always been central to its cultivation and trade.
This gives us something essential, proximity to the origin, and a responsibility to it.
We know where the coffee comes from. We understand the journey it takes. And we know that every bag represents far more than a finished product.
